Just an Observation - Nothing Personal
An axiomatic aspect of our religious institution is its inevitable axiom of heritage. As a hallucinogen, the religious belief is shared by all the members of our elder generation. The (mis-)belief that worship is a privilege bestowed bounteously only on one specific sect of the society and no other community can enjoy that benefit in general is tightly rooted in their cognitive spectra. A single white thread, made of the worst quality of fabric, possesses the potential, more than purifying the body or mind or soul, to turn the mentation capacity of some beings inert and stagnant. Despite carrying the notoriety of being an alcoholic or drug-addict, the members of this referred section, are esteemed higher than an highly educated fellow who is well-versed in Sanskrit language and literature. They remain in lofty demand on certain occasions and entertain a massive sense of vanity owing to their ritually deified piece of thread. Their utterance of the classical language evokes guffaw; their greed is pathetic. This monolithic sect still exists, though the dinosaurs long expired.
