Gallophobia

There is no scientific reason behind Gallophobia. It is mere pusillanimity of the Continent, especially the British. Caught within the maelstrom of a pandemic, it is not at all relevant. Those who are squatters in another's habitation should fear. They having belonged to the same region, are talking in patois.

Enervation

James Thomson in "The Castle of Indolence" portrays a setting where the dwellers confront moral enervation due to their indulgence in luxury.   The woman is of tawny complexion.  Looking at Alec's murdered body, the landlady had goose flesh.  We bristle at the prospect of another interview.  She was wearing a beige skirt.
