Trifecta

The politicians know savoir faire very well. 

The atrophy of her character is really concerning.

A consistent cline has been perceived in his result. 

He has given not even a needle to me in his bequest.

The trifecta that I love in her is patience, intelligence, and pride.

With the concierge's aid, the man had been murdered.  The corrupt politicians are engaged in senseless recrimination.  They try to use her innocence as a leverage to gain sexual favour.

Enervation

James Thomson in "The Castle of Indolence" portrays a setting where the dwellers confront moral enervation due to their indulgence in luxury.   The woman is of tawny complexion.  Looking at Alec's murdered body, the landlady had goose flesh.  We bristle at the prospect of another interview.  She was wearing a beige skirt.
