Nobody is here to debunk the crude truth except him. 

The product is sold at an undercut price. 

Those who follow suit become equally successful.

After achieving the pyrrhic revenge, he could not gain peace.

James Thomson in "The Castle of Indolence" portrays a setting where the dwellers confront moral enervation due to their indulgence in luxury.   The woman is of tawny complexion.  Looking at Alec's murdered body, the landlady had goose flesh.  We bristle at the prospect of another interview.  She was wearing a beige skirt.
