Caboodle

A caboodle of various people has gathered in the fair. 
A clangour is heard from the upstairs room. 
The case is running through constant demurrals since six years. 
A punishment through severe impalement has been imposed upon the criminal. 
It is expedient for all of us to contribute to the society in some way.

With the concierge's aid, the man had been murdered.  The corrupt politicians are engaged in senseless recrimination.  They try to use her innocence as a leverage to gain sexual favour.

Enervation

James Thomson in "The Castle of Indolence" portrays a setting where the dwellers confront moral enervation due to their indulgence in luxury.   The woman is of tawny complexion.  Looking at Alec's murdered body, the landlady had goose flesh.  We bristle at the prospect of another interview.  She was wearing a beige skirt.
