New technology pushes old ones to obsolescence. 
Sonnet form prevented Wordsworth from prolixity. 
Sonnet is the most complicated and expository lyric form. 
The sonnet form was the most congenial to Wordsworth. 
The year 1819 is the most climacteric period in the life of John Keats (1795-1821).

Enervation

James Thomson in "The Castle of Indolence" portrays a setting where the dwellers confront moral enervation due to their indulgence in luxury.   The woman is of tawny complexion.  Looking at Alec's murdered body, the landlady had goose flesh.  We bristle at the prospect of another interview.  She was wearing a beige skirt.
