Gourmand

Moupriya Garai is a gourmand. She talks about only tangential stuff most of the times. I have lambasted her so many times for such foolhardiness, but none can straighten a cur's tail. She gets easily befooled by the shenanigans of marketplaces. But she thinks that I am only delivering tiresome harangue for no fault of her own.

With the concierge's aid, the man had been murdered.  The corrupt politicians are engaged in senseless recrimination.  They try to use her innocence as a leverage to gain sexual favour.

Enervation

James Thomson in "The Castle of Indolence" portrays a setting where the dwellers confront moral enervation due to their indulgence in luxury.   The woman is of tawny complexion.  Looking at Alec's murdered body, the landlady had goose flesh.  We bristle at the prospect of another interview.  She was wearing a beige skirt.
