Sensibility

My sensibility is very keen. 
I was deeply affected by the event.
The Metaphysical Poets show their intellectual quiddity in their writings.
He is a person endowed with ratiocinative thoughts. 
The French symbolists were of the same ilk as were the Metaphysical Poets.

The British colonizers extirpated millions of native Americans and Australians.  Marcus was elected as a consul in the Roman Republic. With the concierge's aid, the man had been murdered.  The corrupt politicians are engaged in senseless recrimination.  They try to use her innocence as a leverage to gain sexual favour.

Enervation

James Thomson in "The Castle of Indolence" portrays a setting where the dwellers confront moral enervation due to their indulgence in luxury.   The woman is of tawny complexion.  Looking at Alec's murdered body, the landlady had goose flesh.  We bristle at the prospect of another interview.  She was wearing a beige skirt.
