The Quadrivium

The quadrivium that existed in the middle ages, such as, geometry, astronomy, arithmetic, and music were a curriculum that can optimise the mentation potential of a subject. But such a citizen, well aware and knowledgeable, is a threat to an oligarchy. The risible coups that power involves in perpetrating when wise people rise in society, are left as nothing but mere meaningless romps. State machinery, compared as Leviathan by Hobbes, can be affiliated with rather a Chimera, the Greek monster creature with two heads of lion and goat, the body of a goat, and tail of a serpent. There are many arrears to be paid to the helpless homeless poor citizen from whom the draconian government has snatched the minimum means to survive. I perpend that power has an esemplastic power in itself qua it can mould the masses and provide new shapes, like anti-national, Maoist or Naxal. Such adventitious and momentous agency is handed down to a bunch of fundamentalists by the people themselves. Any heterodox idea that does not conform with the fundamental Hinduism will be labelled as anti-national. This Power-Politics is replete with smugs.
