Proteomics

This word 'proteomics' I got from reading an article on stigma. It asserts that an organism is developed not from a single gene or for genetic mutation, but it is a consequence of a complex interaction between multiple genes and proteins. This is what proteomics studies. I don't know if my practice of vocabulary daily is coming to any benefit. But I'm sure that it is accruing my stock of lexicon and also self-assurance. Vocabulary is a balsam or a soothing ointment that gives you sufficient means to write something in your own words. It is a sure-fire stuff that can never fail you, that is, you will never be out of diction. It's a great boon if you can utilize it so. If you ponder deeply, the ontogenesis of our species is rooted in quotidian effort, without tiring or exhaustion. It might seem a hokum, a nonsense that I'm blabbering about. But this is what gives me strength to carry on my practice. Yesterday, I had got a number of words associated with medical field of vocation, like harelip, neurasthenia, hypochondriasis, and sclera. Can't understand how I can use so many medical and psychological terms in my bunkum. So through this not so clever subtlety, I'm trying to quickly skimming through all those words and straightforward go to the word distal. It also is used usually in describing physical parts, like the distal point of my hand is aching. No salutary measurement could prevent the Covid virus.
