Cartel

Mexico has been gripped by violence as drug cartels fight for control of the trade. 
No one should condone violence and abuse at work. 
The group is hoping to galvanize public opinion against the proposed law. 
Until recently the withdrawal agreement was sacrosanct. 
If he had not succeeded in escaping, the ferocious female would undoubtedly have eviscerated him.

James Thomson in "The Castle of Indolence" portrays a setting where the dwellers confront moral enervation due to their indulgence in luxury.   The woman is of tawny complexion.  Looking at Alec's murdered body, the landlady had goose flesh.  We bristle at the prospect of another interview.  She was wearing a beige skirt.
