Tenuous

The judges remain impervious to the tenuous arguments in favour of the convict. 

The financial situation of our state is gyrating around stagflation. 

The congeries of topics that we deal with are not isomorphic. 

The accretion of my spoken English skill will be the dividend of my efforts and time to study vocabulary. 

Most of the times our state government has issued such fiats which are tendentious.

James Thomson in "The Castle of Indolence" portrays a setting where the dwellers confront moral enervation due to their indulgence in luxury.   The woman is of tawny complexion.  Looking at Alec's murdered body, the landlady had goose flesh.  We bristle at the prospect of another interview.  She was wearing a beige skirt.
